Heather Wood Events

Heather Wood is New York City's premiere Trekkie drag queen. She hosts a Star Trek Viewing Party at Industry Bar (previously at Vodka Soda/Bottoms Up). Prior to her involvement in the Star Trek community, she hosted various weekly shows and special events at The Toolbox. Heather has also hosted other shows and special events such as “LIVE!” a weekly talent competition at Posh Bar & Lounge, IMPAC+’s monthly party at The Ritz Bar & Lounge, and various other special events at places like Queen Vic, Bamboo 52, Stonewall Inn, and Fairytale Lounge. Before her drag career began, Heather performed regularly at Therapy NYC’s “Cattle Call”, a long running talent show hosted by RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant Peppermint, where she sang pop songs accompanied by her acoustic guitar. She also performed her musical sets Rockbar, The Duplex, The Web and Green House.
